Design project - Recuisine

In my first design project in the DIGSIM squad, I focused on the design for the Internet of Things (IoT) in the home of 2030. During this project, my group conducted a case study on the kitchen of 2030 and developed a concept for human-AI collaboration to transition to a more healthy and sustainable lifestyle. We created a digital experience showcasing the interaction between a family of three products that communicate with other devices in the house to reduce food waste and make it easier for users to cook healthy meals based on a Machine Learning (ML) recommendation system for ingredients and recipes.

During the project, I not only learned how to collaborate on design cases that are highly intertwined, but also how to set up effective communication, ideation, and realization processes to inspire the members of the collaborative creative process. I also gained a greater understanding of how to shape and approach creative project management and use various ideation and creativity methods. Additionally, I learned how to collaborate on software and express ourselves through coding in a shared digital environment that I built, and how to use software for user testing, data-mining and training a Machine Learning (ML) model. Through this project, I was able to gain a comprehensive understanding of creative processes and how to effectively use digital technologies to enhance this process.
